Pastor Thompson is the founder and Pastor of Faith Fellowship Church, located in Bowie, Maryland.  Faith Fellowship Church was officially started in July 1997, providing Sunday morning worship services, adult and youth Sunday school classes, and a weekday bible study.  The ministry provides for the spiritual and social needs of its members through special men’s, women’s and family fellowship meetings and events, and is in its 11^th year.

Pastor Thompson has been working in various aspects of ministry since the age of 19.  He was ordained as an Elder into the Bible Way Church World Wide organization in July 1994, and was a member of the Mother Church serving under Bishop James Silver and the late founder, Bishop Smallwood E. Williams.  While at the Mother Church, Pastor Thompson served as Youth Pastor, Sunday School Teacher, Young Adult Fellowship Club Chaplain and Treasurer, and a Junior Deacon.  He was also active with the National Youth auxiliary.

Pastor Thompson has been involved with the ministry of teaching for over 30 years, and has spent a umber of years ministering to and working with youth and young adults.  He believes his formal call to the Pastorate is an extension of the teaching ministry in which he has been blessed to serve.

Pastor Thompson has a Masters degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland.  He received his Bachelors of Science degrees in Accounting and Theology from the University of Maryland and Apostolic Christian College, respectively.  He has also received various program certificates from Washington Bible College, Howard University Saturday College, The Evangelical Training Association, and the Bible Way Educational Center. 

Pastor Thompson and his wife Lady Sharon serve in the ministry as workers together.  They are the proud parents of three children, Lauren, Erika and Bryan.
