Most Valuable We Are

Until you value yourself, you won’t value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.

– M. Scott Peck

The Bible tells us to “not think more highly of ourselves than we should”. Now that doesn’t mean to think “less” of ourselves. After all, we are God’s children made in His very image. The problem is we tend to operate at two extremes: low self-esteem or overly high self-esteem — with low self-esteem often the dominating trait.

Once we learn to see, accept and love ourselves as God does, we’ll understand that He made us quite special (a peculiar people) even with all of our faults and idiosyncrasies. And guess what….He uses those very cracks to allow His glory to shine through our lives.

So check your connection and tune into God’s frequency. Don’t underestimate yourself or your worth. We are the very apple of God’s eye and He’s got work for us to do that will yield great value in His Kingdom…remember, the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. It all starts however, with us knowing who we are in Christ and valuing ourselves so we don’t become discouraged, distracted and derailed from our purpose, complacent or stuck (Eph 5:14-17). We are all “Most Valuable People!!

Love You All to Life!!
