In Hot Pursuit

Funny how when it comes to things we want in life we become focused and very creative in ways to achieve it. And we stay in hot pursuit, willing to go through “hell and high water”  to make it happen.

That’s the attitude God wants when it comes to relating to Him. We’ve got to let go of that spirit of entitlement and be willing to go through the deep waters, climb the rough mountains and go through the dry valley spells to receive the prize, knowing that God is with us always.

After all, nothing that’s worth it…that is more satisfying and long-lasting comes without some pain or struggle. Only then can we appreciate the journey, which is where we learn the most about ourselves and God. Remember God’s promise in Isaiah 43:2 – “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”

Tiegreen says “Every problem in life and every obstacle you face may appear to be a hindrance to you, but is not. Each one is an opportunity, the wind that lifts your wings, the moment to seek God’s face and find it. Every moment of need is a potential moment of experiencing God in some way.”

Be relentless and stay in Hot Pursuit of God (rather than anything this world offers) and you’ll certainly find that treasure which is never compromised, and won’t rot or spoil.

Love You All to Life (LYATL)!
